1. Why is the movement to restore neighborhoods important to you?

I have lived in Oak Cliff for 12 years, and during that time, I have seen how a group of caring and involved neighbors can transform a neighborhood. I know the value that my neighborhood contributes to my quality of life, and I know residents across the city can benefit from cohesive, walkable, livable neighborhoods.

2. Why do you want to be involved with this movement?

I want to help to do my part to make Dallas the most livable community in the country.

3. What does community mean to you? And where do you find your community in Dallas?

Community means neighbors who know each other, who spend time on their front porches and walking on the sidewalks around their homes. Community means investing together to make sure that everyone has a better quality of life. And I find my community with my friends, neighbors, and the merchants that are nearby in my vibrant Oak Cliff neighborhood.
