1. Why is the movement to restore neighborhoods important to you?

As a lifelong Dallas resident, I have witnessed a lifetime of progress. However, when friends and family from out of town to visit they ask, “Where should we go?” I want to see a Dallas that provides endless possibilities, and I think a good start would be removing I-345 and revitalizing our urban core.

2. Why do you want to be involved with this movement?

This movement needs motivated young people to express their voice. I am a firm believer in leading by example, and my actions and commitment to a cause will hopefully motivate others to stand beside me in support of the Coalition.

3. What does the word “neighborhood” mean to you, and where do you find that in Dallas?

Neighborhood means access to basic needs like grocery stores and walking with your head held high in anticipation of seeing a friend. We see this with the vital lower Greenville, an area once notorious for danger that now has must-visit spots people can’t wait to enjoy, day and night.
