1. Why is the movement to restore neighborhoods important to you?

The movement is important to me because I plan on living in Dallas for a long time and what happens in this city will affect my future. We are at such a pivotal time in our community that we cannot afford to repeat the same mistakes we have made in the past.
2. Why do you want to be involved with this movement?

I decided to get involved in this movement because Dallas is at a tipping point. We have potential to be a major player in attracting young people and talented entrepreneurs. If we are going to be successful, we need to have a more innovative approach to urban planning.

3. What does the word “neighborhood” mean to you, and where do you find that in Dallas?

To me, neighborhood means having access to a network of people in your walkable community. I see glimpses of that in downtown Dallas but more work needs to be done. That’s why I decided to get involved.
